Q. What type of server does your custom web hosting use?
A. Jamison Web Works uses Linux servers, run by the latest Apache software.
Q. How do I set up my custom web hosting account?
A. Just give us a call at 1-800-459-4588 or send an e-mail to hosting@jamisonwebworks.com.
We'll answer any questions, establish a transfer plan and take care of all details. You will also receive
an e-mail with all your access information and instructions. If you choose, we will do all the set up for you at no additional charge.
Q. How do I move my web site from my present hosting company to you?
A. All you have to do is go to your domain name registrar and change the name servers (we'll do it for you at no charge if you desire) and give us a copy of your entire web site. We'll set it up and test everything, before it goes live. Our coordinated transfer system allows you to transfer your site seamlessly, with no down time.
Q. What is the Control Panel?
A. Every Jamison Custom Web Site has its own, easy to use, control panel that allows users to make changes to their web site and e-mail accounts. It is an easy to use, icon driven panel with complete instructions for every task. If you have questions, call our toll free customer support line at 800-459-4588 and a customer service representative will answer your questions and take you through the process,
step by step.
Q. Do I have to use the Control Panel?
A. No, many of our clients do not use the control panel. They simply ask us to make any additions, deletions and changes to their web site or e-mail accounts. There is no extra charge for this service.
Q. How big can I make my web site?
A. You can make your web site as large as you want. There is no size limit with Jamison Custom Web Hosting.
Q. How many e-mail addresses can I have?
A. You can have as many e-mail addresses as you want at no additional charge.
Q. Is there a size limit on my e-mail boxes?
A. There is no size limit for all Small Business Web Hosting e-mail boxes and
no extra fees for large mailboxes.
